Operating Administrations' Drug and Alcohol Program Information

As a result of the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991, the following DOT Agencies established drug and alcohol testing regulations to ensure that aircraft, trains, trucks, and buses were operated in a safe and responsible manner. USCG covered employees may be combined with DOT covered employees in drug testing pools even though the USCG is now part of the Department of Homeland Security.
