Oklahoma Rural Two-Lane Advancement and Management Plan (RAAMP) Package 5

The rural two-lane network in Oklahoma accounted for approximately 65 percent of all serious and fatal crashes in the State, primarily due to the lack of shoulders. The Rural Two-Lane Advancement and Management Plan (RAAMP) Phases 3, 4, and 5 projects will improve 53 miles of rural roads by adding eight-foot shoulders, rehabilitating and resurfacing 59 miles of roads and structures, and replacing three bridges and four concrete bridge boxes.
The Project (package 5) is comprised of five rural projects from Oklahoma’s Rural Two Lane Advancement and Management Program. The program’s improvements target the addition of 8ft shoulders/widening, the rehabilitation/resurfacing of existing driving lanes along with associated drainage and grading work, across Oklahoma’s rural road network.
Project will consist of:
• 18.17 miles of widening to add 8’ shoulders
• 16.24 miles of asphalt resurfacing
• 2.85 miles of full depth reconstruction
• Extension of six reinforced concrete bridge boxes
• Replacement of one reinforced concrete bridge box
