DART Silver Line Regional Rail Project (Dallas Area Rapid Transit)
26-mile double-track passenger rail alignment extending from Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport (DFW Airport) eastward to Shiloh Road in Plano.
The Project traverses through three counties in Texas: Tarrant, Dallas, and Collin and seven cities. It connects with three existing DART lines – Orange, Green and Red.
The Project provides passenger rail connections that will improve mobility, accessibility and system linkages to major employment, population and activity centers.
The Cotton Belt Corridor is now referred to as the Silver Line Regional Rail Project.
