Notice of Proposed Rulemaking - Family Seating in Air Transportation
The U.S. Department of Transportation is proposing to require airlines to seat children aged 13 and under adjacent to at least one accompanying adult at no additional cost beyond the fare, subject to limited exceptions. This proposed rule is part of President Biden’s whole-of-government push to crackdown on fees that can unfairly raise prices for consumers.
