(excluding FAA)
Bulletin #: TSB-2017-08
Date: March 22, 2017
Subject: DOT Headquarters Procedures for Daily Parking Payments during Special Event Dates Fiscal Year 2017
BACKGROUND: The U.S. Department of Transportation garage has limited parking spaces for daily parkers and sees increases in demand for parking on special event days such as the Washington Nationals baseball home games. Due to high demand for parking in the DOT HQs parking garage on Special Event days, effective immediately customers must purchase daily parking permits in advance at the PTRAN window, located at W12-101. Pay.gov will not be available for purchasing daily permits on Special Event days.
INFORMATION: In anticipation of the online payment portal (pay.gov) being out of service on special event days, customers must purchase parking permits in advance at the PTRAN window, located W12-101. The PTRAN Office will extend hours of operation on the business day before a special event day from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Special event rate pricing of $15.00 per day applies to all dates listed below for daily parking permits. Daily parkers are reminded that daily parking permits will not be sold on special event days. Dates listed are subject to change without notice.
