SUBJECT:  Special Events Daily Parking

PURPOSE:  This Bulletin provides updated guidance on the Department of Transportation (DOT) parking program.

INFORMATION:  Due to high demand for parking in the DOT HQ parking garage on Special Event days, effective immediately customers must purchase daily parking permits in advance at the PTRAN window, located at W12-190. Daily permit purchases or payments made online via Pay.gov will not be honored for Special Event days.  Customers should keep in mind that space is limited and the number of daily parking permits available, especially on Special Event days, is determined by the number of monthly permits sold.

ACTION:  Purchase daily parking permits for Special Event days in advance from the PTRAN office for entry into the parking garage. PTRAN hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

EXPIRATION DATE:  This bulletin will remain in effect until canceled.
