SUBJECT:  TRANServe Online Transit Benefit Application New Information Requirements

WHAT IS HAPPENING AND WHY?

TRANServe is changing the Online Transit Benefit Program Application information requirements to collect additional security and enrollment information for web application users.  The additional web application users’ data will expand the TRANServe transit benefit database to support program communication and modernization initiatives.

The new on-line application requires all users of the TRANServe Online Transit Benefit Program Application System to provide information identifying the following:

  • Agency Point of Contact – in this instance it means your agency mailing contact.  Note - this is a drop down box with a prepopulated list of names for your selection.   
  • Work phone – user selected 10 digit number, and
  • Common identifier -  user selected set of up to 25 alpha/numeric characters (ex. Transportation865a7).  No special characters. 

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Implementation will occur on April 16, 2012.

WHO WILL BE AFFECTED?

All new and existing web application users will be affected.

WHAT ACTIONS DO YOU NEED TO TAKE?

Any new application or recertification submitted after April 16th, 2012 will require input of new data fields for agency POC, work phone, and common identifier.
