Privacy Act Statement (5 U.S.C. § 552A)

AUTHORITY: Collection of the information solicited by this webpage is authorized by the Privacy Act of 1974, by 5 U.S.C.§ 552a, General (Secretarial) Powers, 9 U.S.C. § 322, and by Operations by Carriers, Requirements, 49 U.S.C. § 417. The system of records is exempt from subsection (d) (Access to records) of the Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552a, to the extent that it contains investigatory material compiled for law enforcement purposes, in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552a(k)(2).  

PURPOSE: The primary purpose for this collection of information is to assist OACP in determining whether Turkish Airlines provided timely refunds to consumers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

DISCLOSURE: Provision of the requested information is voluntary and there are no consequences to consumers for not providing this information.
