Our Services:
- Develop internal policy and procedures
- Provide technical assistance to Departmental managers, supervisors and employees regarding internal civil rights or EEO policy, procedures and program requirements
- Develop the Departmental affirmative employment programs and plans
- Administer the Department's EEO/EO ADR Program and provides technical assistance to DOT's civil rights staff in ADR techniques
- Trains EEO Counselors
- Develop policies, procedures and guidelines for internal EEO civil rights programs affecting DOT employees or applicants for employment under the following:
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended
- Sections 501 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended
- Equal Pay Act of 1963
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
- Equal Employment Opportunity in the Federal Government Regulation, 29 CFR 1614
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Act of 1998, as amended
