Discrimination

Federal laws prohibit discrimination against federal employees and applicants. Discrimination can be on the bases of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age (40 years or older), physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, genetic information or the belief that you have been retaliated against for participation in activities protected by civil rights statutes.  Facts regarding various types of discrimination are available from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
