This consent order concerns violations by Asiana Airlines, Inc., (Asiana) of the Foreign Air Carrier Family Support Act of 1997 (Act), as amended, codified in part at 49 U.S.C. § 4 1313, as well as the statutory prohibition against unfair and deceptive practices, 49 U.S.C. § 41 712. This order directs Asiana to cease and desist from future similar violations of 49 U.S.C. §§ 41 313 and 41712, and assesses the carrier $500,000 in civil penalties.
