1st Meeting: June 28, 2012

The ACACP held its first public meeting on June 28, 2012, in Washington, DC.

The committee discussed existing aviation consumer protection and civil rights statutory and regulatory requirements as well as enforcement and rulemaking activities by DOT's Office of Aviation Enforcement and Proceedings. the committee also heard presentations from various organizations representing airlines, travel agents, airport operators, state and local governments, and consumer and other public interest groups.
