What We Do

The Office of International and Aviation Economic Law provides legal support to the Office of the Secretary and all modes of transportation.  Our areas of responsibility include: 

  • Transportation negotiations with foreign countries
  • International transportation safety and security
  • International trade
  • U.S. air carrier citizenship interpretations
  • Aviation licensing and regulatory matters involving air transportation.
