Office of the Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs
The Office of Aviation and International Affairs is responsible for the analysis, development, articulation, and review of policies, programs, and plans for economic issues in domestic aviation and international transportation.
International Transportation and Trade
Provides departmental leadership, direction, and coordination on the international surface and intermodal transportation and trade policies and programs; leads and coordinates departmental representation in global transportation and trade organizations.
Develops, coordinates, and executes departmental international aviation transportation policy.
Initiates and supports the development of the Department's public policies regarding economic oversight of the airline industry in both domestic and international markets.
