SUBJECT: Parking Payments for January through June 2016
PURPOSE: This Bulletin provides guidance on the Department of Transportation (DOT) parking payments for January 2016 through June 2016 for the DOT HQ parking garage. To ensure full cost recovery, a parking garage rate increase is scheduled to take effect February 1, 2016.
INFORMATION: Monthly and Daily Parking permits may be purchased for January 2016 at the PTRAN office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or through Pay.Gov beginning December 30, 2015.
2016 Parking rates:
· Monthly:
January –no change $140.00
February through June $155.00
· Daily- no change
o All days through June 30 except Special Event days $12.00
o Special Event days $15.00
· Motorcycle rates – no change
o Monthly $25.50
o Daily $5.00
Other changes effective immediately:
· PTRAN must date all pre-paid daily permits.
· The purchase of quarterly monthly passes is suspended.
ACTION:
- Daily permit payments are due prior to or on the same day as parked.
- Monthly permits are available for January 2016 until January 15, 2016.Starting February 2016 monthly permits are available up to the 5th business day of the month. After the 5th business day, only daily parking permits will beavailable for that month.
- Payments can be made on line or via www.pay.gov. Receipts must be presented to PTRAN or the parking attendants upon garage entrance.
EXPIRATION DATE: This Bulletin will remain in effect until canceled.
