As soon as you use one permit, you can reserve another one. You can only have 6 daily parking permits at a time.

The go-live date for the parking reservation system was Thursday, April 7, 2022. You are able to make reservations for Monday, April 18, 2022 and forward at this time.

You must first submit a parking application prior to being able to create an account in the Parking Reservation System. To complete and submit an application, go to: https://parkingapp.ost.dot.gov
- Go to https://dotparking.usedirect.com/DOTPasses
- Select “Login” in upper right-hand corner of the page
- Enter your DOT email address, your password, and select the box “I am not a robot”
- Select “Submit”
- Select your approved permit type: Monthly or Daily. If Daily permit, select the day(s) on the calendar you want to reserve.
- Scroll down the page and find the permit type you are approved for and select “Buy Now”
- Enter the license plate number and state of the car you will be driving and select “Continue”
- If you wish to buy more than one permit, click on “Continue Shopping” and repeat the process above.
- Once you have all your permits in your cart, select “Go To Check Out”
- You will see a pop-up window with “Success” on it. This will also have your confirmation number. Select “Close” and your parking permits will be sent to your DOT email.
- Open the email from AutomaticEmail@usedirect.com and open the PDF(s) for your parking permit(s)
- Print your permit and place on your vehicle’s dashboard.
- Go to https://dotparking.usedirect.com/DotPasses
- Select “Login” in upper right-hand corner of the page
- Select “Forgot Password”
- Enter your DOT email address
- Select “Recover Account”
- Select “Close”
- Check your DOT email for your temporary password. The email will be from: AutomaticEmail@usedirect.com

No. A carpool is a group of two (2) or more people regularly using a motor vehicle for transportation to and from work on a continuing basis.
You may receive a violation. The violation can be resolved with the Parking Office.
Yes. To register for a carpool permit, other riders' information must be added to the application.
Carpools must have at least two riders.
Carpool parking permits are monthly permits.
This is a personal choice. If you want to guarantee parking, you may want to do monthly parking permit.
No. Both monthly and daily Job Requirement permits receive the same priority.
Monthly parking permits can be purchased for the current month up to the 10th day and the next month will also be available for purchase.
