Domestic Airfare Consumer Report
Overview
Domestic Airfare Consumer Report is a quarterly publication that shows average fares for domestic routes flown by U.S. airlines. US Carrier submitted Origin and Destination traffic data (DB1C) is extrapolated to create this report. The data in this report is typically submitted to the Department about five or six months after the quarter it represents. In some cases, there will be problems with the data submitted by a carrier resulting in a delayed release of the report for that quarter.
An updated report will be not be released until the data from all the reporting carriers submitted is deemed accurate and complete.
