- NOTE: On 6/15/23, DOT was made aware that due to an update in the ESRI platform, the lasso function is no longer available for selecting Census tracts in the ETC Explorer Tool. This tool was used in the example in the Office Hour session and was described in older versions of the Calculating Percentage of Population in Underserved Communities fact sheet. The fact sheet has been updated to describe alternate options to select multiple Census tracts in a municipality or project area.
- NOTE: The webinar and previous versions of this document use "Fatal Motor Vehicle Crashes" instead of "Persons Killed in Fatal Crashes." Applicants should use Persons Killed in Fatal Crashes to calculate Average Annual Fatality Rate. Applicants who have completed their applications based on previous guidance will not be penalized, but we recommend updating your data.
