Webinar Series: Safe Streets and Roads for All Grants

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) hosted informational webinars for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant opportunity. These webinars were recorded and serve as a resource for prospective SS4A applicants.

SS4A “How to Apply” Webinars

These “How to Apply” webinars feature information to help potential applicants learn about the SS4A grant program and what they need to know to prepare an application.

The first webinar provides a general overview of the program, with a focus on Action Plans. The second webinar delves more deeply into eligible supplemental planning and demonstration activities, while the third webinar focuses on applying for SS4A Implementation Grants.

The presentations and recordings for each of these sessions are posted on this page.

Note: In March of this year, Congress passed Public Law 118-42, or the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024. Division F, Title I, Section 109C changed the set-aside in Section 24112(c)(2)(B) of Public Law 117–58 from 40 percent to 30 percent for fiscal year 2024 and any prior fiscal years.

As a result, the Notice of Funding Opportunity will be amended in Section B.5 to reflect the change. The total funds made available that must be awarded for developing an Action Plan, including supplemental planning to update an existing Action Plan or demonstration activities to inform the development or update of an Action Plan, will be updated to $461,494,000 once the NOFO is amended.
