USDOT Public Listening Summit on Automated Vehicle Policy
On March 1, 2018, U.S. DOT hosted a Public Listening Summit on Automated Vehicle Policy (Federal Register Notice). Stakeholders and the public were invited to attend a summit with senior leadership from USDOT, state and local partners, industry, academia, and safety advocates at the U.S. DOT Headquarters. The event focused on key cross-modal issues that are important to the successful integration of automated vehicles into our nation’s surface transportation system. The event was web casted live (see archived below) and a docket (Docket No. DOT-OST-2018-0017) has been opened so that stakeholders and the public can submit information both before and after the summit.
