Eligible Uses

Eligible uses include primary research and development in the following focus areas:

  • Characterize expected CO2 specification ranges for various product streams.
  • Design a modernized database to integrate publicly available climate and geohazard-related data into existing database used for all pipelines.
  • Enhance current knowledge and technology solutions to prevent and mitigate risks of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) for pipeline integrity management.

Funding Information

PHMSA anticipates awarding up to $2 million in CAAP funding for FY 2024, with federal funding not to exceed $1 million per award. Applicants may submit more than one application, but each individual application must not exceed $1 million in federal funding requested.
