Description

The services being acquired under the subject acquisition are for resurface of the asphalt test pad area at NHTSA’s San Angelo Test Facility (SATF) located on Goodfellow Air Force Base (GAFB) in San Angelo, Texas (TX) that produces a coefficient of friction for the test surface of 0.55 to 0.62 and enough durability to yield 8 to 10 years of useful life for Uniform Tire Quality Grading System (UTQG) traction testing in accordance with tire testing requirements specified in 49 C.F.R. § 575.104.
