Description

Support Services is anticipated to be a multiple award ID/IQ contract to provide timely and efficient support of programmed research in the areas of Rolling Stock, Track, Train Control and Communications, and Human Factors. The FRA RDT&E effort will include research, development, testing and evaluation to support the Department's rail-related goals and mandates. These activities will aim to provide a rational and effective basis for safety regulations and standards and/or revisions thereof, and promote general safety improvements in the rail industry.
