Description

The Advanced Research Projects Agency - Infrastructure (ARPA-I) is a newly designated agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) that was authorized by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 (IIJA, 2021). ARPA-I was established by Congress “to support the development of science and technology solutions that overcomes long-term challenges and advances the state of the art for United States transportation infrastructure.” ARPA-I seeks contractual technical support services to engagement stakeholders regarding research and development areas of interest in transportation infrastructure (physical and digital), development of innovation programs, and other related agency efforts. Experience in the operation of one or more Federal advanced research projects agencies (including Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E), The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) and/or Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) is desired.
