Description

The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Secretary, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has a requirement from OMB Circular A-130, Managing Information as a Strategic Resource, and OMB Memorandum M-13-13, Open Data Policy- Managing Information as a Strategic Asset. Among other things, these policies require that the Department develop and maintain an Enterprise Data Inventory that conforms to a government-wide specification (see: https://resources.data.gov/resources/dcat-us/), and that the Department have the capability to offer machine-readable access to its datasets and can engage with dataset customers and users. This procurement is a follow-on to previous orders for Socrata Government Cloud and Support Services.
