Description

The Aerospace Medical Research Division (AAM-600) executes the FAA’s Aeromedical Research Program, which focuses on safety sensitive personnel and airline passenger health, safety, and performance in current and forecasted future civilian aerospace operations. This program involves aerospace-relevant applied research in the biomedical, biodynamics and survivability/cabin safety sciences. The division also supports ongoing operational safety functions through its radiobiology and fatal accident medical case review/toxicological analysis programs. This contract supports the research efforts of the division.
