Description

The construction of the roughly three-mile proposed project which would be part of the approximately four-mile Perimeter Trail will predominantly provide access to the refuge trails for all non-motorized user groups including pedestrians, cyclists, and horseback riders and some occasional personal vehicle users and buses for field trips. The project includes the construction of the east, west, and north segments and connects to the Levee trail on the south thereby completing the approximately four-mile loop. The trail will be surfaced with roadway aggregate and will have a 15-foot-wide travel way.
