SUPPORT FOR TRANSPORTATION TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, OPERATIONS, AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS: Volpe develops innovative concepts to address existing and anticipated challenges in areas such as traffic flow management (TFM), enterprise information exchange, modernizing legacy automation and infrastructure, and integrating “new entrant” vehicles and platforms (e.g., drones, commercial space vehicles) into modal operating environments.
