DOT OSDBU announces new SBTRC's for Central & Mid-Atlantic Regions

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), is pleased to announce the selection of two organizations to serve as the Small Business Transportation Resource Centers (SBTRCs) for the Central and Mid-Atlantic Regions. The Enterprise Center of Philadelphia will serve as the Mid-Atlantic Region SBTRC, covering the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. The Helping Hands Community Development Corporation of Little Rock will serve as the Central Region SBTRC, covering the states of Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Minnesota.

OSDBU's 11 SBTRCs assist small and disadvantaged businesses throughout all 50 states and U.S. territories by offering a range of technical and financial assistance. The SBTRCs further the mission of the OSDBU to increase the number of small businesses that are prepared to compete for, and enter into, transportation-related prime and subcontract opportunities. As the vital entities of the OSDBU Regional Assistance Division, the SBTRCs also work closely with state and local transportation agencies located in their respective regions.
