DOT to Call for Innovative Research Proposals from Small Businesses
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will seek innovative proposals from small businesses to address research challenges facing the Department. On April 2, DOT’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration/John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center will release the final Fiscal Year 2012 solicitation for its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The solicitation, which will contain eight research topic descriptions, will invite small businesses to submit proposals no later than June 5, 2012 that address the research needs of DOT’s agencies.
