National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2024 (P.L. 118-31) Section 825 (codified at 46 U.S.C. 50309)

Covered entities include: 

  1.  Port authority that receives funding under the Port Infrastructure Development Program, Maritime Transportation System Emergency Relief Program, or any Federal grant funding program,  
  2.  Marine Terminal Operator located on property owned by a port authority that receives any Federal grant funding or at a commercial strategic seaport that is within the National Port Readiness Network, 
  3.  Any agency or instrumentality of the US Government, State or Local Government, or Territorial Government, and
  4.  Commercial Strategic Seaport within the National Port Readiness Network. 

Prohibits covered entities from using the national transportation logistics public information platform (LOGINK) or any national transportation logistics information platform provided by or sponsored by the People’s Republic of China, or a controlled commercial entity or a similar system provided by Chinese state-affiliated entities.
