In observance of Veterans Day, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), in partnership with the Department of War’s Office of Industrial Base Growth and Small Business Administration’s Office of Veterans Business Development, will host a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Summit on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at U.S. DOT Headquarters.
This day-long, in-person event will recognize and celebrate veteran entrepreneurs and their service to our nation. The Summit’s primary focus is to increase VOSB awareness of—and access to—federal contracting opportunities; provide practical education on doing business with the U.S. DOT and the federal government; and connect firms with relevant tools, resources, and agency representatives.
The VOSB Summit will help veteran-owned small businesses learn about federal contracting and connect with agency representatives.
