Tribal Technical Assistance Program (TTAP)

Description:

The Department of Transportation issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity to establish seven physical centers to support Tribes’ delivery of their transportation programs to enhance the quality of life in Tribal communities by building capacity for Tribes to administer and manage their transportation programs and systems. TTAP centers will serve as a go-to local resource for Tribal transportation training, technical assistance, and technology transfer needs and opportunities to effectively carry out the TTAP vision. In the interim, the program offers online programs and remote technical assistance on safety, construction management, planning, design, environment, construction management, contract administration, maintenance, and asset management.
