Through the Community Connections initiative, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) partners with State DOTs, MPOs, local and Tribal governments, and other transportation practitioners to engage and plan with communities; enhance multimodal access, mobility, and safety; advance community development and revitalization; and improve transportation project success. The Community Connections Toolbox includes innovative tools and strategies to help State DOTs, MPOs, local and Tribal governments, and other practitioners bring communities together and connect people to services and opportunities.
