U.S. DOT Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Regional Assistance Division Manager (RAD), Michelle Harris, highlighted how TEC has proven its commitment to the small business community and will continue to provide focused technical assistance to help prepare small businesses for the transportation-related opportunities coming available over the next 5 years.

OSDBU's 11 SBTRCs assist small and disadvantaged businesses throughout all 50 states and U.S. territories by offering a range of technical and financial assistance. The SBTRCs further the mission of the OSDBU to increase the number of small businesses that are prepared to compete for, and enter into, transportation-related prime and subcontract opportunities. As the vital entities of the OSDBU Regional Assistance Division, the SBTRCs also work closely with state and local transportation agencies located in their respective regions.
