Chaffee County Road 300 provides access to the Arkansas River, the Browns Canyon National Monument, and to the Ruby Mountain Campground. This 0.25-mile section of CR 300 is gravel surfaced.

The existing El Porvenir Bridge was destroyed by the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon fires in April 2022. The scope of this ERFO project is to replace the bridge with a like structure.
Route 011 is a two-lane gravel road that has been deteriorating due to weather events, drainage and geotechnical issues, and lack of routine maintenance. This project will include resurfacing the road, drainage improvements, and sub-excavation at the locations the Refuge identified needing repair. A section of the project from MP 0.0 to MP 0.6 may be included in a future FLAP project. The total project length is approximately 2.0 miles.
The project is located in the White Horse Hill National Game Preserve (formerly Sully’s Hill NGP) in central North Dakota approximately 100 miles west of Grand Forks, ND. The preserve sits along the south shore of Devils Lake, North Dakota’s largest natural lake.
The proposed scope includes rehabilitation and paving of 253rd Street from Harmony Road west for 0.4 miles (to the entrance to Windsurfer Beach and Saddle Ridge Horse Camping & Trailhead) and then north for 0.3 miles along Orleans Road to the entrance to the Marysville Boat Ramp.
The purpose of this project is to address the significant deterioration and safety concerns for the 0.31 miles of Joe Tank Road that accesses the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest from state Route 260. Joe Tank Road is deteriorated and has cracks, large potholes, and large areas where the asphalt surfacing does not exist.
This project consists of rehabilitation of approx. 0.25 miles of the existing paved Entrance Road (010), reconstruction of the existing paved Visitor Center Parking area (RTE 900) and reconstruction/reconfiguration of the intersection of the entrance road and staff maintenance parking access road to compliment the improved Visitor Contact Building.
