Air Traffic Controller

Overview

The FAA hires hundreds of veterans every year in all occupations.  Two significant occupations reside in the FAA's Air Traffic Organization (ATO).  The ATO employs thousands of Air Traffic Controllers and Technicians to safely operate the National Airspace System.  Military controllers and technicians possess the skills the ATO is looking for in new employees.  In fact, the ATO actively seeks former military controllers and technicians through special job vacancy announcements.  Furthermore, veterans may be able to use their Montgomery G.I. Bill benefits when employed by the ATO while in training to become certified.
