Transportation Consumer Price Index (CPI) - July 2016: The CPI for all transportation goods and services rose 5.8% from July 2025 to July 2026. However, the transportation prices are 0.5% lower than June 2026, per the CPI. Transportation contributed 28.7% to the 3.4% increase in the overall price of all goods and services in July 2026, per the CPI. The Transportation Producer Price Index (PPI) - July 2026: The PPI shows that prices for transportation equipment increased by 2.4% in July 2026 from July 2025.
