The project is located in Bedford, Scott, Tazewell, and Wythe Counties, VA. The work includes geotechnical slide repairs; bridge scour repairs; culvert repairs, replacements, and installation; replacement of timber bridge low water crossing; riprap installation, and other miscellaneous work.
Work includes removing the existing bridge, constructing a new bridge, grading, aggregate surface course, and other miscellaneous work.
The scope of the project is preventative maintenance/pavement preservation to extend the life of the pavement and to lower the actual life cycle cost. This project is to place 1.375-inch overlay on the main park road, parking areas, and all connecting and intersecting routes.
