Engineering services - The FHWA Long-Term Infrastructure Performance (LTIP) Team is seeking vendors to provide engineering and technical services including, but not limited to, data validation and management, data visualization and data analytics to ensure data quality and public access of the infrastructure engineering and research data on the FHWA InfoHighway portals. The success of this effort requires a team that possesses expertise in not only data management and web portal development, but also pavement, bridge, and other highway infrastructure engineering and materials.
To accomplish the registration portion of the agency's mission, the FMCSA actively monitors and ensures motor carriers follow safety and commercial (for-hire, non-exempt carriers) regulations. The FMCSA provides guidance to motor carriers who may be subject to registration requirements for both safety (safety registration) and commercial regulation (operating authority registration). FMCSA relies on traditional mass mailings to communicate with industry.
