Parking and Transit Benefit System (PTBS)

Under 5 U.S.C. 7905, Federal Employees Clean Air Incentives Act, Federal agency employees are encouraged to commute by means other than single-occupancy motor vehicles. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Transit Benefit and Parking Programs Office (TRANServe), within the Office of Assistant Secretary for Administration, oversees and administers the Transportation Subsidy Program (TSP) for DOT and other participating federal agencies. TRANServe includes the bicycle benefits program and parking services to DOT headquarters personnel. The Parking and Transit Benefits System (PTBS) is the system used by TRANServe. This Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) is being updated to reflect the publication of an updated system of records, and documents that partial social security numbers (SSN) are no longer collected.

DOT is committed to ensuring that information is available in appropriate alternative formats to meet the requirements of persons who have a disability. If you require an alternative version of files provided on this page, please contact privacy@dot.gov.
