NPRM on Geographic-Based Hiring Preferences
The Department of Transportation proposes to amend its regulations in 2 CFR Part 1201 implementing the Government-wide Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards to permit recipients and subrecipients to impose geographic-based hiring preferences whenever not otherwise prohibited by Federal statute.
