Summary
PHMSA is confirming the effective date for a DFR published in the Federal Register on April 24, 2026. The DFR amended PHMSA's regulations at 49 CFR part 192 to incorporate by reference the updated industry standard ASTM A372/A372M, Standard Specification for Carbon and Alloy Steel Forgings for Thin-Walled Pressure Vessels (ASTM A372/ A372M).
