Notice of availability; final environmental impact statement.

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) announce the availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Blue Marlin Offshore Port (BMOP) Deepwater Port license application for the export of oil from the United States to nations abroad. The BMOP Deepwater Port license application describes a project located approximately 99 statute miles off the coast of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, with an approximate water depth of 162 feet. The FEIS analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the Project and the alternatives to the proposed action, including the no action alternative. The FEIS will inform MARAD's decision to approve, approve with conditions, or disapprove the BMOP Deepwater Port license application.
