Kristy Frizzell is the Operations Manager for the USDOT Highly Automated Systems Safety Center of Excellence (HASS COE). She has more than 30 years of experience in program management, secretarial duties, office management, customer service, communication, and project management. Previously, Kristy served in the Federal Highway Administration Office of Safety Operations Research and Development, providing administrative and event planning support to senior executive office Director(s), technical directors, team leaders, and federal and contract employees. As Publications Manager and Logistics Coordinator for Worldwide Meetings and Exhibits at the ITS Joint Program Office, Kristy was instrumental in creating, managing, and maintaining the Electronic Document Library (EDL) in close collaboration with the National Transportation Library (NTL) team. She served as team lead and liaison between the NTL, web team, and ITS community to ensure uniformity of documents being integrated into the NTL. In addition, she managed the process of transferring the EDL to NTL, providing periodic analysis and reporting of strategies to the ITS JPO Managing Director and staff, USDOT Acquisition Representative, RITA Program Analyst for NTL, and ITS JPO Communications Coordinator for EDL.
