The Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP)

The Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) provides financial assistance to reduce the number and severity of crashes, injuries, and fatalities and hazardous material incidents involving commercial motor vehicles.

Commercial Motor Vehicle High Priority Enforcement Training and Support (HP- ETS) Grant Program

The HP- ETS Program funds the development and delivery of motor carrier safety training to non-Federal employees enforcing Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR), or the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) Out-of-Service criteria.

High Priority Innovative Technology Deployment (HP-ITD) Program

The HP-ITD Program supports the deployment of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and driver safety technology, including the implementation and maintenance of intelligent transportation system applications or CVIEW.

Commercial Driver's License Program Implementation (CDLPI) Grant

The Commercial Driver's License Program Implementation (CDLPI) provides financial assistance to States and other eligible entities to carry out and improve the national CDL program.

Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training Program (CMVOST)

The Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Operator Safety Training Program supports enhanced CMV (non-CDL) operator safety training, prioritizing current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
