Benefits Operation Center Case Management System (BOC CMS)
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Office of Human Resources (AHR) implemented the Salesforce Public Service Cloud to facilitate the management of AHR’s mission. AHR’s Benefits Operations Center Case Management Module (BOC CMS) is used by the agency’s Office of Human Resource Management (AHR) Benefits Operation Center (BOC) to support the administration of FAA employee benefits and retirement programs, including FAA employees who are eligible for retirement benefits and annuitants who are currently receiving benefits. The BOC CMS serves as an automated workflow management application to track, manage, and administer the BOC’s services. BOC CMS was previously BOC CMM. In accordance with E-Government Act of 2002, the FAA developed this Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) because the BOC CMS collects Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of FAA employees and their beneficiaries (such as spouses or children) who are members of the public. It is FAA’s processing of PII from members of the public that triggers the PIA requirement.
