About this Document

This doucments outlines the agenda for the 6th U.S.-China Transportation Forum will be hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation on October 28-30, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois in conjunction with two other significant U.S. and China transportation-related events:

  • The “Yangtze-Mississippi River Forum”
  • “Sino-American Logistics Conference and Exhibition” 

The U.S. delegation will be led by U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation, John Porcari while the Chinese delegation will be led by Vice Minister of Transport, Gao Hongfeng.  Other participants will include U.S. Government officials from USDOT, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, as well as the Departments of State and Commerce, among others.
