HR Policy and Oversight

The HR Policy and Oversight Program ensures DOT’s policies and guidance are consistent with law and regulation.  An appropriate level of oversight is provided that is consistent with law, regulation and DOT policy to ensure compliance with Merit Systems Principles and Prohibited Personnel Practices.  DOT HR Policy and guidance provides the appropriate flexibilities to the Operating Administration consistent with DOT executive direction.
