DOT Financial Assistance Policies
On April 22, 2024, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) updated governmentwide guidance for federal financial assistance located in Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR). DOT’s formal adoption of 2 CFR part 200 is located at 2 CFR part 1201. For DOT awards obligated on or after October 1, 2024, the new guidance will be applied as reflected in the terms and conditions of awards.
