The United States Department of Transportation National Roadway Safety Strategy (NRSS) is a roadmap forward to reduce fatalities and serious injuries. The NRSS outlines three core objectives—Safer People, Safer Roads, and Safer Vehicles—and emphasizes DOT’s commitment to drive fatalities toward zero. Safety is DOT’s top priority.
